Speaking with the media ahead of Saturday’s season-opener against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Ohio Stadium, Buckeyes senior left tackle Thayer Munford set the bar high for himself and his linemates, courtesy of Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope.

Having started 26 games over the last two seasons, Munford earned second-team All-Big Ten recognition from the coaches and media in 2019.

He is projected to be joined on the offensive line by sophomore left guard Harry Miller, redshirt junior center Josh Myers, right guard Wyatt Davis, another redshirt junior, and redshirt sophomore right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere.
With J.K. Dobbins, a 2,000-yard rusher last fall, now in the National Football League, this group will be tasked with paving the way for redshirt sophomore Master Teague III and senior Trey Sermon, a graduate transfer from the Oklahoma Sooners.
