'No truth to it' Ohio State coach Ryan Day shoots down rumors of NFL interest
It doesn’t look like Ryan Day is interested in an NFL head coaching job at the moment.
Day was quick to shut down rumors that he’s going to the NFL during a press conference on Wednesday, according to Bill Rabinowitz of The Dispatch.
There were rumors that Day was being considered for the Chicago Bears job earlier, but his agent cleared those up by saying that they were false.
Day on the rumors of him going to the NFL: “There’s nothing to it, no truth to it. And I love being coach at Ohio State.”

For the time being, Day seems to have no plans to leave Columbus. He will be coaching No. 6 Ohio State in its next bowl game against No. 11 Utah in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.
