Games and competitions for low-risk sports are permitted to continue as scheduled, but high-risk sports are still uncertain, yet. Sports that may continue with contests include golf, tennis and volleyball, while the OHSAA continues to monitor the situations regarding field hockey, soccer, cross country and football.
When school vs. school competitions for those sports can begin has not been announced at this time.
Earlier this week, the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) announced that it would also continue with fall sports as planned. The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) decided to postpone fall sports until spring.
