In addition to being Ohio’s top-ranked player, the industry-generated composite rankings have Styles as the No. 8 player nationally, and the No.1 prospect at the safety position.
Styles has ties to Columbus, as his father Lorenzo played for OSU and was a third-round pick in the 1995 NFL Draft. But there is also a family tie to Notre Dame, as Sonny’s older brother Lorenzo Styles, Jr., a 4-star wide receiver in the 2021 class, suits up for the Irish.
