Ohio Stadium received a new playing surface for 2022. After an offseason renovation, the Horseshoe has new turf installed.
Moving forward, the turf playing field inside the Horseshoe will also have a title sponsor. The program announced Ohio Stadium will feature Safelite Field, beginning with this season.
The name of the venue will receive the sponsor name with “Ohio Stadium” remaining the same. As a part of the agreement, the turf playing field will receive “Safelite” logos opposite the B1G logos on the 25-yard lines.

Safelite is the nation’s leading vehicle glass services and recalibration company and is located in Columbus. Safelight was the first company to sponsor a logo on a field goal netting, beginning in 2014.
First glimpse of the field will come in Week 1 when the bright lights come to Columbus for a primetime showdown between Notre Dame and Ohio State. The Buckeyes will also be home for the season finale rivalry showdown vs. Michigan.
