Ohio State landed a commitment from Northwestern linebacker transfer Nigel Glover Tuesday evening. Glover entered the transfer portal 2 weeks ago following head coach Pat Fitzgerald’s firing at Northwestern.

Glover, who is a rising freshman, will have all 4 seasons of eligibility remaining for the Buckeyes. He signed with Northwestern in December and never saw the playing field.

Glover is a strong addition for the Buckeyes, too. He adds some depth to the Buckeyes’ 2023 class, which featured just 1 LB pledge.

The 6-3 Glover originally came out of high school as a safety prospect. He was Northwestern’s 2nd highest rated commit in the 2023 cycle.

Glover is considered to be the No. 335 overall prospect in the Class of 2023, as well as the No. 30 LB and No. 10 player out of Ohio.
