Just got confirmation that the previously scheduled game b/w Ohio State and San Jose has been canceled by mutual agreement by both sides, and this addition of Youngstown State is the replacement game. #Buckeyes

The Buckeyes already have the other two nonconference opponents set for that season, playing Western Kentucky on Sept. 16 and heading to South Bend to play Notre Dame on Sept. 23.
Youngstown State’s trip to Columbus will mark the first time since 2013 Ohio State has hosted an FCS opponent. The last time came on Sept. 21, 2013, when the Buckeyes took on Florida A&M.
The Buckeyes defeated the Rattlers 76-0.
