Ohio State among early risers on ESPN's Playoff Predictor following Week 1 win
The Buckeyes have already gone up a few percentage points when it comes to ESPN’s Playoff Predictor for the 2021 season.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, considering how good Ohio State is, but the Buckeyes saw their odds go up 6% after the Week 1 win against Minnesota. The Buckeyes now sit with the 2nd best odds at making the CFP at 67%.

The biggest increase came from Georgia winning their game against Clemson. Their odds went up 18% to make the CFP this season while Clemson’s odds went down 30%.
These odds are going to keep changing throughout the season, especially for a team like Clemson. They have a cakewalk for the rest of their schedule as the ACC isn’t that good this season.
As for OSU, the Buckeyes will have to keep winning to make sure they have the best odds of getting in and that should be no problem since they’re going to be favored in virtually every game they play.
Ohio State will get the next chance to increase the odds when Oregon comes to Columbus this Saturday at Noon ET. The game will be televised by FOX.
