Ohio State among teams to leak Michigan's signs to opponent, per report
Ohio State is reportedly included in the group of teams that leaked Michigan’s signs to an opponent of the Wolverines.

Bacon, B1G commissioner Tony Petitti was informed Tuesday that two teams in the conference leaked Michigan’s signals to Purdue ahead of the 2022 B1G Championship Game. Bacon reports Ohio State and Rutgers are the two teams that leaked those signals to the Boilermakers who were led by Jeff Brohm last season.
It was initially reported Monday that a former employee at a B1G program informed Michigan other teams had knowledge of the Wolverines’ signs recently. That former staffer cited being motivated by the sign-stealing investigation into Jim Harbaugh’s program.

FWIW:
Big Ten’s Tony Petiti was informed today that the two programs which fed Purdue Michigan’s signals before the 2022 BT title game were Rutgers and OSU. Not clear if rules broken, doesn’t directly affect UM’s situation, but raises question re: relative competitive advantage.— John U. Bacon (@Johnubacon) November 7, 2023
It’s worth noting per Bacon’s report, there is no clarity if rules were broken in the situation as presently reported. There is also no direct connection or impact on Michigan’s investigation, but it is certainly something Tony Petitti might weigh when it comes to a decision on if — and how — to announce a punishment for Harbaugh or the Wolverines.
