The coaching staff at Ohio State has yet to speak with the media in the month of August. That will change on Monday.
Ohio State announced that interim head coach Ryan Day and defensive coordinator Greg Schiano will be available for reporters on Monday, marking the first time Buckeye coaches have spoken to the media publicly. Coaches have not spoken due to the investigation into head coach Urban Meyer, which concluded last weekend.
Meyer was put on administrative leave for two weeks and has been suspended for the first three games of Ohio State’s season.
Day and Schiano will be available to the media at 11:45 a.m. ET on Monday. Players will also be available to speak with the media on Tuesday.
Ohio State opens the season next Saturday against Oregon State in Columbus.
