Ohio State basketball pulls transfer commitment from veteran guard out of West Virginia

Ohio State is getting a key piece for next season via the transfer portal with a veteran contributor.
The player is Sean McNeil, a 6-foot-3 guard who has started 55 games over the past two seasons at West Virginia. McNeil was second on the Mountaineers last season with 12.2 points per game in 32 games played.

Last season, McNeil averaged 12.2 points on 41% shooting, including 37% from 3-point range. He also chipped in 2.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.7 steals per game.
McNeil initially joined West Virginia in 2019 after a stint at Sinclair Community College. Over 3 seasons, McNeil appeared in 89 games for the Mountaineers (55 starts) with career averages of 10.1 points, 2 rebounds and 0.9 assists while shooting 40% from the field.
