OSU won by dominating the second half. MSU led 32-22 at the break, but the Buckeyes outscored the Spartans 38-25 over the final 20 minutes. Devin Royal led the comeback effort, scoring 10 of his team-high 14 points in the second half on 5-of-5 shooting from the field.

All 6 of Bonner’s points came in the second half. The game-winner was his second 3-pointer of the day. OSU made just 3-of-17 3-point attempts in the game.
Even with the second-half rally, Ohio State led for just 6 seconds of game time. Michigan State led for 38:25, with 3 ties accounting for 90 seconds.
It’s rate for the Sparants to lose back-to-back home contests. Ohio State’s win marks the first time it has happened for Tom Izzo’s team since 2016.
MSU dropped consecutive home games for the first time since January 2016, when the Spartans lost at Breslin to Iowa and Nebraska, with a road loss at Wisconsin sandwiched between them.
