Ohio State will have a happy trip home to Columbus.

The Buckeyes beat Michigan State 60-57 in thrilling fashion on Sunday at the Breslin Center. Dale Bonner drained a 3-pointer with 0.2 left to play.

OSU won by dominating the second half. MSU led 32-22 at the break, but the Buckeyes outscored the Spartans 38-25 over the final 20 minutes. Devin Royal led the comeback effort, scoring 10 of his team-high 14 points in the second half on 5-of-5 shooting from the field.

All 6 of Bonner’s points came in the second half. The game-winner was his second 3-pointer of the day. OSU made just 3-of-17 3-point attempts in the game.

Even with the second-half rally, Ohio State led for just 6 seconds of game time. Michigan State led for 38:25, with 3 ties accounting for 90 seconds.

It’s rate for the Sparants to lose back-to-back home contests. Ohio State’s win marks the first time it has happened for Tom Izzo’s team since 2016.
