We will have to wait just a little bit longer before we know if Urban Meyer will be punished by Ohio State.

On Monday afternoon, Yahoo Sports reporter Pete Thamel reported that the Ohio State Board of Trustees would meet on Wednesday at 9 a.m. to discuss the Urban Meyer situation. The meeting may or may not come with a final decision however, according to Thamel.

“There’s still no clarity on when a final decision will come, but that’s the next step that needs to happen,” Thamel wrote.

He also reported that the investigation ended on Sunday.

Meyer has been on paid administrative leave since Ohio State announced it would launch an investigation into the head coach’s alleged knowledge of former assistant coach Zach Smith’s history of domestic violence allegations.

Ohio State will open the 2018 in less than two weeks when it hosts Oregon State.
