It was a bit of a slow start for Ohio State, but it seems like the squad is fully awake now.

The Buckeyes took their first lead of the game, courtesy of receiver Chris Olave notching another touchdown. It was his 31st career touchdown and 4th against Penn State.

Quarterback CJ Stroud made a play-action fake and hit Olave for a 38-yard touchdown pass as there was no one around him.

The fun didn’t stop there, though. As Ohio State put its defense back out there, the unit made a splash play, courtesy of defensive lineman Jerron Cage. He had a big-time scoop and score after Nittany Lions quarterback Sean Clifford had the ball knocked out of his hands.

This got the Buckeyes lead up to 17-7 as they look to get to 7-1 going into the home stretch.
