Ohio State has confirmed the name of a former assistant coach who accompanied Zach Smith at a strip club in 2014, according to a report.

Tuesday, the Columbus Dispatch reported that former offensive coordinator Tom Herman — now the head coach at Texas — was the assistant coach with Smith at a Miami-area strip club in May 2014. The two ran up “a significant bill,” which exceeded $600.

Herman was not mentioned in the report and Smith did not seek reimbursement for his expenses. However, the NCAA could get involved if any the charges covered any expenses for high school coaches that were present, according to the Dispatch.

Earlier on Tuesday, Ohio State released several findings from the university’s investigation into Urban Meyer and Smith. Included in that report was the list of transactions that were processed at the strip club.

Herman was the offensive coordinator at Ohio State from 2012 through 2014. He is currently the head coach at Texas.
