Ohio State cracks top 5 for elite Class of 2025 RB out of Georgia
Ohio State has cracked the top 5 for elite Class of 2025 running back Donovan Johnson out of IMG Academy in Florida.
The 6-1 RB is originally from Savannah, Georgia but transferred to preps powerhouse IMG for his sophomore season. He’s a strong athlete and also runs track. Johnson qualified for the AAU junior Olympics in 2022.
Johnson is considered to be one of the top running backs in the 2025 cycle and his offer list shows that. He’ll choose between the Buckeyes, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State and USC.

Johnson is considered to be the No. 113 overall prospect in the Class of 2025 according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s also a top 10 RB prospect and the No. 19 prospect out of Florida.
