Ohio State has named their players of the game after they took down Tulsa 41-20 on Saturday and the player on the offensive side of the ball shouldn’t come as a surprise.

That honor went to running back TreVeyon Henderson, who had the best game of his collegiate career to date. He finished with 24 carries for 277 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus averaged over 11 yards a carry.

Before this game, Henderson hadn’t had over 100 yards rushing in a game yet. He still has plenty more of those coming though as he’s only a freshman.

On the defensive side of the ball, the honor went to Cam Martinez as he had 3 pass breakups and 1 interception that he took back to the house for a pick-6.

The Buckeyes were barely beating Tulsa at halftime as they were up by just 7 (13-6), but then did most of their damage in the 2nd half. That’s when Henderson had 2 of his rushing touchdowns, plus when Martinez had his pick-6.

Their next game will be on Sept. 25 against Akron.
