Ohio State crushed Michigan at Ohio Stadium Saturday 62-39.
The 23-point victory certainly keeps the Buckeyes’ hopes of making the College Football Playoff in tact, as the team will certainly jump in the polls from No. 10. The win for many of Ohio State’s players also marked its final victory at Ohio Stadium.
The game was the final home contest of 2018, and so for the seniors — and players moving on to the NFL — it was their last.
One player who isn’t classified as a senior, but is apparently playing professionally next season is DL Dre’Mont Jones:
Dre'Mont Jones, an NFL-eligible redshirt junior, on what today's game means to him: "It’s so much emotions behind this win, because given what people were saying about us, it’s hard to really explain in words how I feel. It’s my last game in the Shoe, and I got 4 Gold Pants now."

Jones is a dominating lineman, without question. Ohio State has a number of them, but Jones hadn’t made his intentions known about next season until now. So far in 2018, the 6-foot-3, 286-pound machine has had an INT returned for a TD to go along with his 7.5 sacks.
Last year, as a redshirt sophomore, Jones elected to return to school — but nobody knew for how much longer. The talent was always there, and soon, he plans on cashing in on himself.
