According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Tuimoloau is a 5-star prospect and the No. 3 overall player in the country for this class.
Tuimoloau is the lone major prospect from the class of 2021 to not sign with a program yet. He insisted on taking official visits before doing so, which is a process he wasn’t able to start until June 1. Official visits were not allowed from March of 2020 through May of 2021 due to COVID-19.
Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class was amongst the best in the country, even before Tuimoloau’s potential addition. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, the Buckeyes’ class ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the Big Ten.
