Ohio State was far from perfect in Week 10, but the Buckeyes did enough to keep their win streak intact.
Heading on the road to face Nebraska, Ohio State was greeted by another tough effort from the Huskers. They made life difficult for C.J. Stroud and the Buckeyes while picking off 2 of Stroud’s passes and holding Ohio State to its lowest point total of the season.
Ohio State did manage 2 touchdowns – including a 75-yarder by Jaxon Smith-Njigba – but Nebraska held the team to 4 field goals. In the end, Ryan Day’s squad did enough to secure the 26-17 win and move to 8-1 (6-0 in B1G play).
On Sunday, Ohio State revealed its picks for Players of the Game. The group was headlined by Smith-Njigba who had a record-setting day against the Huskers. His 15 catches are a single-game record for the Buckeyes while his 240 yards receiving are the second-most in a single game for Ohio State.
