On Wednesday, Snook wrote up a new report, this time on Facebook. Due to Meyer’s mishandling of the Smith situation, he was suspended for three games. After talking to two trustees, here is the gist of what happened with the discussions regarding Meyer’s punishment and the whole case against him:

In this report, it states that the information originally came from the Powell police to the athletic director down to Meyer. So, the thought that Meyer hadn’t gone to the athletic director with information he found out about Smith is pointless, since it he heard it from the athletic director.

The report also talks about how the case was about how Meyer handled Smith — since Smith was being a poor representative of the university. The case was not — according to this report — about an abused woman.

Also, the majority of board of trustees did not think Meyer’s punishment was handled correctly.
