Ohio State kicker shares profane email he got after missed field goals
Some fans take things too far.
One Ohio State fan did just that following the Buckeyes’ 31-0 loss to Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday. The fan sent a profanity-filled email to kicker Tyler Durbin after the game, and telling him to “stay in Arizona.”
Durbin missed two field goals in Ohio State’s shutout loss. He shared the e-mail via Twitter on Sunday morning. Please be advised, the following message contains very sensitive language:

Both of Durbin’s attempts came in the first quarter and both were 47-yard attempts. Ohio State’s loss was one of the worst in program history and was the first time Urban Meyer has been shutout in his career.
Ohio State’s fans are known for being loyal and passionate, but message like that are never appropriate. Some of Durbin’s teammates did come to his defense via Twitter:
It's a shame to see how some "fans" react to adversity. Love my unit and my brothers #GoBucks https://t.co/jX0S9u1pZF

I'm sorry but there is no place for this, for whoever sent this to tyler needs to be ashamed https://t.co/PpnvNHcBef

Ohio State’s season came to a close with an 11-2 record.
No matter how disappointed you are with a team or player’s performance, try not to be like this fan.
