Ohio State lands 2025 commitment from in-state LB

The Ohio State Buckeyes have landed another in-state recruit for the 2025 class.

Linebacker Eli Lee took to social media to announce his intentions to play for the Buckeyes. Lee’s graphic proclaims the “Best in Ohio, Stay in Ohio.”

Lee is a 3-star recruit and Ohio’s No. 13 overall prospect for the 2025 class, per the 247Sports Composite ranking. The 6’3″, 215-pound linebacker plays for Archbishop Hoban in Akron. Lee also received interest from Akron, Central Michigan, Toledo, and West Virginia.

The linebacker is the 4th hard commit for the Buckeyes’ 2025 class and the 1st linebacker to commit. The 247Sports Composite ranking gives the Buckeyes the No. 10 class so far for 2025.

The other in-state 2025 recruit signed on for the Buckeyes is QB Tavien St. Clair. The QB for Bellefontaine is a 4-star recruit and the No. 1 player in the state for the 2025 class.
