The separation between Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class and the rest of the field continues to grow. The Buckeyes are up to 17 verbal pledges by mid-April.
Ohio State landed another high-quality prospect on Monday, with four-star athlete Jantzen Dunn giving his verbal commitment to Ryan Day and his staff. The Bowling Green, Kentucky native had received nearly 30 offers on the recruiting front during this cycle.
Dunn picked Ohio State over Louisville, Oklahoma, Miami and Georgia Tech, among several other offers. He made his announcement via Twitter.

Dunn, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete, is listed as one of the top 250 players in the 2021 recruiting class and is the No. 3 prospect out of Kentucky. He becomes the 15th player with a four- or five-star rating to commit to the Buckeyes.
Ohio State’s 2021 class continues to add skill and depth. The Buckeyes lead the nation with this year’s recruiting class, and by a wide margin at the moment. They are nearly 60 points ahead of North Carolina, which ranks second currently.
Clemson, Florida and USC round out the top five.
