Ohio State lands another huge commitment from 4-star DT
Just minutes after Ohio State received a commitment from four-star wide receiver Kamryn Babb, the Buckeyes received another significant verbal pledge, this time from a highly-touted defensive lineman.
Four-star defensive tackle Tommy Togiai announced Tuesday night that he’s committed to Ohio State, becoming the 21st member of the class. He made his announcement via Twitter.

Togiai is ranked as a top 10 defensive tackle in the 2018 class and is currently tabbed as No. 126 overall according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s the second-best player out of Idaho.
A 6-foot-3, 290-pound lineman, Togiai received 16 offers, most of which came from the West. He only received interest from four B1G schools: Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin. He chose the Buckeyes over other contenders like Utah, Washington and Arizona State.
Ohio State’s class still ranks first nationally with the addition of Togiai. But that diminish the fact that this has been a huge week for Urban Meyer and Co. on the recruiting trail.
