It just sounds like a broken record.

Ohio State and Urban Meyer landed a commitment from elite outside linebacker Dallas Gant. The Toledo, Ohio, native committed to the Buckeyes over Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State, among others. Gant stands 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, and he’s rated the No. 5 outside linebacker and the No. 4 overall player in the Buckeye State, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The biggest thing that stood out about Ohio State? It’s home.

“I love the coaches,” he said. “I’ve known Coach Meyer for a long time and Coach (Greg) Stud(wara) as well. They’ve been great to me. I like all the recruits, players and Columbus in general.”

Just another day for Meyer’s Buckeyes landing another elite prospect in the state.

Gant became the Buckeyes’ No. 10 commitment in the recruiting class and the second commitment from the state of Ohio.
