According to the 247Sports composite, Hickman is the No. 13 athlete in the class of 2019 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of New Jersey.

Hickman chose the Buckeyes over offers from Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State and plenty of other big-name programs.

Currently, the Buckeyes’ 2019 class is ranked No. 21 in the nation and No. 5 in the Big Ten, per 247Sports.
