Ohio State lands commitment from 4-star QB via 2023 class out of South Dakota
Ohio State target and 4-star quarterback Lincoln Kienholz decommitted from Washington Wednesday morning and committed to the Buckeyes later in the day.
Kienholz had a number of B1G teams interested in him including Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. Here’s what he had to say about his decision:

Kienholz is a 4-star QB and is also the No. 14 QB and the No. 1 player in South Dakota from the 2023 class per the 247Sports Composite.
Kienholz joins a stacked class of 2023 for Ohio State, which boasts the No. 5 recruiting class in the nation according to 247Sports.
He is the first quarterback in the class of 2023 for Ohio State, though he likely will have to earn a starting role against Ohio State’s current quarterbacks.
Ohio State plays in the College Football Playoff, taking on Georgia on Dec. 31.
