Ohio State picked up a pair of massive wins on the recruiting trail Monday, landing twin brother offensive line prospects via the 2024 recruiting class.

The players are Deontae and Devontae Armstrong, twin brother linemen out of St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. Deontae was the first to announce his commitment but he was quickly followed by Devontae’s decision.

Deontae is the higher rated of the two, checking in as a 4-star offensive tackle per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. Listed at 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds, Deontae Armstrong is rated the 25th OT nationally and the No. 9 player out of Ohio for the cycle.

Devontae Armstrong is also rated a 4-star prospect as an interior lineman for the next level. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 288 pounds, Devontae is rated as the 23rd IOL and the No. 13 player out of Ohio for the cycle.

The commitment of the Armstrong brothers gives the Buckeyes 6 commitments so far in the 2024 recruiting class. Five of those prospects have a 4-star rating or better with four players from Ohio Included.
