Ohio State perenially has one of the nation’s top recruiting classes. The school has not had a class finish outside of the top 15 in over a decade. It’s still early, but the 2026 class for the Buckeyes is off to a good start.

On Thanksgiving Day, the Buckeyes received a commitment from 4-star tight end Corbyn Fordham. Fordham chose the Buckeyes over Georgia, Clemson, and Auburn.

“I’m home let’s do it BUCKEYE NATION!!” said the prospect in his announcement.

Fordham stars for The Bolles School in Jacksonville, FL. Per the 247Sports Composite rankings, Fordham is the No. 15 TE in the 2026 class and the No. 51 player out of Florida. The TE stands at 6’4″ and weighs in at 205 pounds as a junior.

As a sophomore in 2023, Fordham caught 37 passes for 324 yards and 2 TDs. The prospect came into his junior season with interest from several schools. Fordham finished the 2024 season with 22 catches for 226 yards and 4 TDs.

Before committing to the Buckeyes, Fordham had heavy interest from Florida State, Florida, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, and Ole Miss, among others. Fordham narrowed his list down to Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson, and Auburn before choosing the Buckeyes on Thursday.

With Fordham, the Buckeyes now have 3 commits and the No. 16 class in 2026. Fordham joins receivers Chris Henry Jr. and Jaeden Ricketts in the 2026 class.
