Ohio State’s No. 2 overall 2024 class just got that much more impressive.

The Buckeyes dipped into the Volunteer State Saturday, adding a commitment from 4-star tight end Max LeBlanc. It’s the first TE commitment of Ohio State’s 2024 class.

The 6-3 TE out of Chattanooga was considering the Buckeyes and Tennessee among a few others, but ended up committing to Ryan Day Saturday, saying “Ohio State has been my dream school since I started playing football,” per On3Sports’ Hayes Fawcett.

Ohio State just refuses to slow down on the recruiting trail. The Buckeyes recently added 4-star QB Air Noland, 5-star WR Mylan Graham and 4-star RB James Peoples, among many others.

LeBlanc, to his part, is rated as the No. 270 overall prospect in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s also considered to be the No. 13 TE and the No. 6 player out of the state of Tennessee.
