One of the most recognizable college bands made a cameo appearance on one of the most recognizable television shows running.
A Saturday Night Live skit recently featured the Ohio State marching band (The Best Damn Band in the Land) in one of its skits on Saturday, March 12. The bit got plenty of laughs, too.
The song played during the skit was Ohio State’s rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin,” originally written by Journey. Below is the video of Saturday’s skit that ran on SNL:

Ohio State’s marching band is regarded as one of the best in the country. It was pretty unique to see the school get a shoutout on such a high-level platform.
The Buckeye band seemed to appreciate it, as well. In a response, the official Twitter account of the band said, ” Thanks for the shoutout and spreading our music!”
Thanks for the shoutout and spreading our music! Straight 🔥! #GoBucks
