The nation’s top-ranked cornerback in the 2021 recruiting class has included Ohio State in his top four.
Tony Grimes, a five-star cornerback out of Virginia Beach, Virginia revealed his top four schools today, with Ohio State firmly in the mix. He also included Texas A&M, Georgia and North Carolina in the top four. Grimes is listed as the No. 7 overall player in the 2020 recruiting cycle.

Grimes has been a priority target for over 40 programs on the recruiting front. His elite talent and speed has him projected as a high future pick in at the NFL level.
According to 247Sports, Grimes totaled 48 tackles and four interceptions last season at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach. He’s a two-sport athlete, participating in track as well as football.
Ohio State already has a loaded class, which ranks first nationally. If Grimes were to land with the Buckeyes, the team would be on the brink of assembling one of the best classes in history.
