Ohio State-Minnesota broadcast breaks Big Ten Network record in Week 12
Ohio State’s matchup against Minnesota in Week 12 broke a Big Ten Network record.
The one-sided affair drew an impressive 2.015 million viewers, breaking the B1G Network record for the most viewed game in network history. The previous record holder was a Black Friday matchup between Iowa and Nebraska in 2021, which drew 1.99 million viewers.
As you’ve probably drawn, Week 12’s game is also the first time in network history that an event has surpassed 2 million viewers.
A new📺record. On 11/18, @GopherFootball and @OhioStateFB delivered more than 2,000,000 viewers.

All 2 million viewers essentially tuned in to watch a funeral. The No. 2 CFP Buckeyes trounced the Golden Gophers 37-3 to improve to 11-0 on the season.
See it as a warmup for the Buckeyes’ most important game of the season thus far, in Ann Arbor against Michigan. The winner is just a B1G Championship title away from a spot in the CFP while the loser would need some help to crack the 4-team field.
