Well, not EVERYONE is on the Ohio State bandwagon.

A week removed from the Buckeyes becoming the first team to ever receive a unanimous preseason No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press poll, an OSU doubter surfaced.

ESPN’s Ryan McGee wrote his first “Flipping the Field” column, where he looked at the biggest surprises in college football for 2015. He talked to a variety of ESPN’s college football writers, including Insider Travis Haney, who made a bold prediction of his own.

“Ohio State misses the playoff,” Haney said.

Haney wasn’t the only one who forecasted some potential Buckeye turmoil.

“Yeah, I think they could lose a couple of games,” agreed College Football Playoff reporter Heather Dinich, pointing to a possible season-ending, three-game gantlet of Michigan State, Michigan and the Big Ten title game.

But the most creative prediction…

“This will be a tough year for the Ohio State quarterbacks. J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones will both go down,” predicted Mike Bellotti, ESPNU’s newly minted College Football Hall of Famer, who followed his doom with a boom. “But Braxton [Miller] will come back to save the day.”

That might give all Buckeye fans heart attacks, but it would sure make for an entertaining year of college football.
