Ohio State announced Friday that the Northwestern game, originally scheduled for Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m. ET, will kick off at 3:30 instead.

Per the team’s official website:

Both participating institutions and the Conference agreed to move the start time of the game that will be carried by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, with the platform designation to be announced at a later date.

This will be the first Ohio State/Northwestern game in Ohio Stadium in nine years, or since Sept. 22, 2007. The teams have played just twice since that game with both contests in Evanston: a 45-10 Ohio State win in 2008 and a 40-30 Ohio State win in 2013.

The Buckeyes, who rank No. 2 in the nation with a 5-0 record, are set to play at No. 8 Wisconsin tomorrow evening in front of a College GameDay crowd.
