Menifield spent just 1 season with Washington before opting for the portal. He had a good year with the Huskies and earned Pac-12 all-freshman team honors.

This past season, he averaged 10 points and 3.1 assists per contest while playing 28.6 minutes per game.

Menifield is from Flint, Michigan, so Ohio State would be much closer to home than his previous program. He was the No. 217 overall player and the No. 37 point guard in the country for the class of 2022, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Ohio State does not yet have any transfer commitments yet in this cycle. However, the Buckeyes have signed 4 high school commits in the class of 2023.

Menifield is listed at 6-foot-1, 150 pounds.
