Ohio State opens as slight home favorite over No. 7 Penn State
Ohio State and Penn State face off in perhaps the biggest B1G game of the season thus far in Week 8.
The Buckeyes host a red-hot Penn State team that just downed UMass 63-0 and dropped a pair of spots in the AP Poll. The winner is one step closer to representing the B1G East while the loser’s path to the B1G Championship game becomes that much more difficult.
The Buckeyes opened as 6-point favorites over the Nittany Lions for Saturday’s key matchup. Fans interested in taking part in those odds can use our DraftKings Ohio promo code to get started!

Penn State is looking to prove a lot Saturday. They’re looking to jump over the hump of being No. 3 behind the Buckeyes and Michigan, and this will be as tough of a challenge for the Buckeyes as ever.
Penn State has the No. 1 scoring offense in the B1G and allows the fewest yards per game of any team in the conference. They’re well coached, disciplined and have a start at QB in Drew Allar.
Ohio State needs to get healthy quick, but it’s talent can certainly match with the Nittany Lions. Kyle McCord is averaging the most passing yards per game in the conference (275.2) and has a host of strong receivers in Marvin Harrison Jr, Julian Fleming and Emeka Egbuka.
We’ll see if the latter is able to go in Week 8.
