Ohio State picks up commitment from elite 2020 safety out of Florida

The Ohio State Buckeyes currently have the nation’s No. 10 2019 recruiting class, but on Wednesday, the class of 2020 was their focus.
Ahead of the Rivals Five-Star Challenge, talented 2020 safety Lejond Cavazos chose between Oregon, Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia and LSU.
And, as you can see in the video below, the 4-star safety out of Florida picked the Buckeyes:

According to the 247Sports composite, Cavazos is the No. 10 safety in the class of 2019 and the No. 30 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
The Buckeyes now have two players in their 2020 class, both of whom are 4-star athletes. The class currently ranks No. 1 in the Big Ten and No. 11 nationally, per 247Sports.
