Ohio State players didn’t want to jinx themselves in the hours leading up to the most important football game of their lives.

The Buckeyes are a big favorite in Monday night’s national championship game against Notre Dame in Atlanta, but the favored team doesn’t always win in the finals of various sports. With that said, Ohio State players were simply answering the following question: Where are you going to put your ring if you win?

One player had the obvious answer — on his hand. Another said he would put the ring in a case. Another said he would put it on a table at home so when he walks in, he would see it right away.

Then one Buckeye had an interesting perspective, saying he would leave the ring with his mom and dad because they would take good care of it. Another Ohio State player said he would keep it in his room in a display case, and then a few others said they would give the ring to their moms.

We’ll find out on Monday night if those Buckeyes will be getting those rings they spoke warmly about and if they’ll get a chance to act on what they said.
