Ohio State playing in Fort Myers Tip-Off in 2021-22 season

Ohio State is heading down to Florida next college basketball season.

Wednesday, the official Twitter account of the Fort Myers Tip-Off announced that Ohio State will be one of four teams participating in the annual event next season. The Buckeyes will join Florida, Cal and Seton Hall for the event.

The event is scheduled to take place during Thanksgiving Week, which will be Nov. 22-28. Specific game dates were not provided on the event’s website.

Game dates, matchups, tip-off times and broadcast information has not been released yet but will be available at a later time.

The Buckeyes are coming off a 21-10 season in 2020-21, finishing fifth in the B1G regular season standings. Ohio State was the runner-up in the B1G Tournament to Illinois in overtime.

Chris Holtmann’s team earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
