Ohio State fans got a first-hand look at what 4-star wide receiver Jayden Ballard is bringing to Columbus as a member of the 2021 class.
Friday night, Ballard turned some heads with an impressive, leaping touchdown grab in Massillon Washington’s showdown with St. Edward. The 4-star wide receiver was able to outstretch a defender to haul in the football, making an impressive touchdown catch.

Ballard’s efforts weren’t quite enough to get the victory for Massillon Washington. St. Edward squeaked out a 24-23 victory on Friday night.
Ballard is a top 50 prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, ranked as the No. 49 overall player per 247Sports. He’s ranked as the No. 5 wide receiver and the No. 2 player out of the state of Ohio.
Ohio State currently owns the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class, per 247Sports.
