Ohio State postpones pro day due to coronavirus
Coronavirus is here. It’s affecting the world in a number of ways and that certainly doesn’t exclude the sports world.
Postseasons have been canceled, the remainder of seasons have been canceled, spring games have been canceled — many sports (if not all) are being affected in one way or another.

On Friday, Ohio State — which already declared the cancellation of its annual spring game — elected to postpone its pro day as well:

The Buckeyes’ pro day was scheduled to take place on March 25. That will no longer be happening on that date. As of now, it is postponed until further notice.
This of course affects many Buckeyes that were hoping to essentially audition for teams in the NFL. The NFL Draft is set to take place from April 23-25 and these pro days across the country are essentially the last time a player can get to work out for others to see and evaluate.
This means that draft stocks can not only climb, but a player who may have gone undrafted could catch the eye of a team and then work his way into being selected in the draft.
According to elevenwarriors.com, these 16 Buckeyes (potentially more) were set to participate in this year’s pro day:
“Ohio State was set to have at least 16 participants at this year’s pro day, including running back J.K. Dobbins, wide receivers K.J. Hill, Austin Mack and Binjimen Victor, tight end Rashod Berry, offensive linemen Jonah Jackson and Branden Bowen, defensive linemen Chase Young, DaVon Hamilton, Robert Landers and Jashon Cornell, linebacker Malik Harrison, defensive backs Jeff Okudah, Damon Arnette and Jordan Fuller and long snapper Liam McCullough.”
