Alabama quarterback Bryce Young might be the reigning Heisman Trophy winner but another quarterback is currently pegged as the favorite to take home college football’s top individual honor in 2022.

Per FanDuel, Ohio State’s CJ Stroud currently owns the best odds to claim the Heisman next season. He was a finalist in 2021 after leading the Buckeyes to a 10-2 record in the regular season and an appearance in the Rose Bowl.

Stroud’s odds are listed at +200 currently, according to FanDuel. Young is currently at +400.

Other notable players in the mix are USC’s Caleb Williams (+1200), Clemson’s DJ Uiagalelei (+3000), Miami’s Tyler Van Dyke (+3000) and Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart (+3000).

Stroud threw for 4,435 yards and 44 touchdowns while completing nearly 72% of his passes as a first-time starter at Ohio State last season. He was named the B1G Quarterback of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year.

Young accounted for 50 total touchdowns for Alabama last season, 47 of which came through the air. He also threw for 4,872 yards and had a 67% completion rate while leading the Crimson Tide to an SEC championship and a College Football Playoff appearance.
