Dwayne Haskins may have peeled back the curtain to his future prior to Saturday night’s Heisman Trophy announcement.

Haskins, who’s in New York City for the Heisman presentation, sent out a tweet thanking Ohio State fans for their support throughout the season. He also made it clear that, even if he isn’t selected as the winner, he’s accomplished quite a bit with the Buckeyes.

The wording he used may suggest that he’s headed to the NFL after one season as the starting quarterback.

“No matter what Buckeyes Nation, it’s been a blast being your quarterback,” Haskins wrote. “Win or lose tonight, my dreams have been achieved. Thank you for you unwavering support.”

Haskins is expected to be one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft. After throwing for 4,580 yards and 47 touchdowns this season and leading the Buckeyes to a 12-1 record, it’s hard to imagine his stock getting much higher.

Over the last week, Haskins has said that he’ll make a decision following Ohio State’s appearance in the Rose Bowl. But it sounds like he may be leaning heavily in one direction. We’ll all find out soon enough.

Haskins does intend to play in the Rose Bowl against Washington on Jan. 1.
