Ohio State QB Justin Fields says he doesn't care if Buckeyes are included in first CFP rankings

When asked about the first College Football Playoff rankings, which come out Tuesday night, Fields had a pretty strong opinion that wherever Ohio State lands won’t matter. He went as far as to say that he doesn’t even care if the Buckeyes are included in the Top 25 of the rankings.
Justin Fields is now speaking. He said he has no interest in the CFP rankings because it only matters at the end. "I don't care if they put us 25 or whatever."

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day didn’t go that far, but he said the first College Football Playoff rankings are “for the fans,” and that it wouldn’t matter where the Buckeyes are ranked Tuesday if they don’t continue to win.
Newsflash — Ohio State is going to be in the Top 25 of the first College Football Playoff rankings. It would be a major surprise if they don’t land in the coveted Top 4, but what Fields and Day are telling the media is ultimately true — only the last College Football Playoff rankings should matter to them.
