J.K. Dobbins has been named a semifinalist for the Early Campbell Tyler Rose Award, presented to the most outstanding college football player with ties to the state of Texas. He is one of 11 players to make the cut.

Through 10 games this season, Dobbins has rushed for 1,289 yards, the second-highest total in the B1G and fourth-best in FBS. He’s also scored 13 touchdowns and is averaging an astounding 7.04 yards per carry this season.

Dobbins has also caught 14 passes for 140 yards and two scores. He’s been a huge reason why the Buckeyes are 10-0 and have the most productive offense in college football.

Finalists will be announced on Dec. 17, 2019 and a winner will be selected at the award banquet in Tyler, Texas on Jan. 15, 2020. All finalists will be invited to the event.

Last year’s winner was Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.
