Ohio State releases availability report for Emeka Egbuka, others ahead of Week 9
Ahead of Ohio State’s bout with Wisconsin on Saturday, the team revealed which players will and won’t play against the Badgers.
Defensive back Denzel burke, running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Emeka Egbuka are all available against Wisconsin, but the Buckeyes will be without running back Miyan Williams, the injury report revealed.
Burke missed last week’s game against Penn State after suffering an undisclosed injury against Purdue. The junior has recorded 7 tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception this season.
There were also no details provided for Henderson’s injury, but he has not played since Ohio State’s game against Notre Dame. He has recorded 295 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Buckeyes this season.
Egbuka warmed up against Penn State last week, but ultimately didn’t play as he continued to nurse a leg injury. He will play for the Buckeyes on Saturday, which will be a huge addition. Egbuka has recorded 303 yards and 3 touchdowns this season.
With the addition of Henderson in the backfield, the Buckeyes also lost some of their strength at running back with Williams out. Williams was instrumental to last week’s game against Penn State, but he won’t be in action on Saturday.
