Ohio State is gearing up to play Illinois this weekend.
On Thursday night, the Buckeye social media team put out an awesome pre-game hype video built around a speech from head coach Ryan Day.
Here’s the video:

“When you invest so much, when you sacrifice so much, you can’t let it go,” Day said in the video. “When you put so much work into something, you don’t let it go. Don’t let this team get in the way of that. Don’t let them get in the way of one of the best stories that could be in the history of college football.
“It’s my job to remind you that that’s available. That’s an option. Everybody’s watching. The Nation’s watching. You can still do it!”
Ohio State held a walkthrough earlier in the day, which is likely a positive sign that the Buckeyes will be able to play against Illinois on Saturday. OSU is reportedly dealing with an increased number of COVID-19 cases.
Ohio State has won nine straight games vs. the Illini, including a 2010 victory that was later vacated by the NCAA. The Buckeyes lead the all-time series record 68-30-4.
Kick off is at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
