Ohio State reveals 2022 game themes for month of September

Ohio State’s return to the football field is quickly approaching. The Buckeyes also open the slate with a couple of key matchups in September.
On Monday, Ohio State announced the game themes as the Buckeyes play 4 home games in September. It all gets started Sept. 3 when head coach Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame come to town.
For the 2022 home and season opener, College GameDay will be in town. It will also be a reunion for the 2002 national championship team of the Buckeyes.
Sept. 10 will be the Scarlet and Gray Game as Arkansas State comes to Columbus. Sept. 17 will feature the Alumni Band in a game against Toledo.
Sept. 24 will bring with it the B1G opener in a contest against Wisconsin. A blackout is on the schedule to face off against the Badgers.
